Geoffrey Swift
joined Bariston Partners as
a Senior Associate in August 2002. He is involved in all stages of the firm's
investment
activities and client company support. Mr. Swift joined Horst, Frisch, Clowery & Finan,
Inc. (HFCF), an economics consulting firm specializing in international transfer
pricing, as an Analyst in 1994. At HFCF he provided planning assistance for
a major U.S. consumer manufacturer's foreign entity restructuring project,
and worked with the IRS to evaluate the profitability of a major electronics
manufacturer's U.S. distribution entity, among other projects. From 1999 to
2000 Mr. Swift worked for bike.com, an internet bicycle retailer and online
magazine, working with the management team to develop a business plan and secure
funding. During the summer of 2001, Mr. Swift was an intern at Bariston and
worked on two asset purchase acquisitions. Mr. Swift holds an MBA from Harvard
Business School, and an AB, cum laude, in economics, from Amherst College.
