Kirk L. Blanchette joined Bariston Partners in August 2003 and is a Vice President of the firm. From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Blanchette was with Banc of America Securities. Initially, he served as an investment banking Analyst for Nationsbank in the Mergers and Acquisitions group where he focused on middle market transactions in the industrial and consumer products industries. In 1998, Mr. Blanchette joined the Diversified Industrials practice as an Associate where he focused on equity and equity-linked security offerings. In 1999, Mr. Blanchette joined Capital One Financial as a Senior Analyst with the New Business Development group where he assisted in the development of the firm’s internet strategy. In 2000, Mr. Blanchette joined North Hill Ventures, an affiliate of Capital One, as a Senior Analyst reviewing investments in the information technology and software industries. He is currently an observer on the Board of Directors of Guardian Security Holdings, Inc. Mr. Blanchette holds an MBA degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS degree, summa cum laude, in finance and investments from Babson College.
